Today I want to speak with you about your traffic. Traffic is the most important part of your site, of course it’s in second place after site content, but anyway you must analyze, which content is most popular, which content you don’t need on your site or blog, how many visitors come to your site and many other aspects, which is important in site traffic. So as you understand you must monitor your stats to get higher traffic.
And here come Google analytics to help you follow after your site traffic. Google analytics I think is the best choose, when choosing between similar analytics programs for your site. First of all it’s made by Google, and it means that it’s stable and secure. Secondly it is easy in use. And third- it can be connected with your Google Adsense account.
Inside Google Analytics
In the screenshot you can see the main screen of Google analytics monitoring program. As you can see it shows a lot of useful information for your site metrics.
So the first part of the program shows detailed daily, weekly and even monthly statistic of visitors which come to your blog, on the second part of the program you can see detailed stats on your site usage- it shows how many visitors come to your site, how many page views there where, then it shows the middle pages/visits count. I don’t know exactly what the bounce rate is, but I don’t use it, but if you know some information about it, please let me know it, add the information in comments bellow this post. Then you can see the average of the time, how long visitors are on your site. And the last stop point of this part of program shows how many there where new visits on your site (Percentage), but you can get more detailed information about all this points by clicking on them.
The next part of the program is Visitors overview part. It shows the count of visitors, which come to your site. If you click on the view report link you can get more detailed information about your unique visitors and of course other information too.

On September of 2008 Google has presented a new web browser, which I think created something fresh and new.
The look and design
I am a human who like’s minimalistic design, which is easy to use and also fast, that’s way I like the Google Chrome. It is designed in minimalistic style and it has only few buttons and an address form. It does not have many buttons like Internet explorer of Firefox. The main and I think the only color is cold blue which looks very nice. All the buttons (reload, favorites, tools and other) also looks stylish and fresh.
Overall of the design is that it’s very nice and simple and the main color is cold blue which looks great.
The use and functionality
The Google Chrome don’t have many options to setup, but if you are a simple internet user you don’t even need them.
When you first open it you can see a white screen with six grey squares. After few random website visits you can see the thumbnails of pages you visit very often. I think that it is a good function it is little bit similar to Operas Speed dial, but it is doing other function. The biggest minus in this function is that you can’t edit it and paste there your favorite websites. But this you can do it in your favorite’s bar which is posited under the address bar. On the startup page you also can find a searcher to find something in your history (not on the internet) Under it you can find a list of your latest favorites and under them your recently closed tabs, which will help you open the tabs which you closed accidentally.
One more interesting function of this browser is “Incognito browsing”. This feature will help you to hide your steps on the web, it is helpful when you want for example buy a present on Ebay for somebody and you don’t want to anybody see’s it. More about this function you can read here.
Overall
The team of Google Company has created something new in web browsers section. I think it is a big competitor for other browsers, like Internet Explorer, Opera, MYIE 2, and Firefox and many others. And it is because it is simple, easy in use, it loads pages fast and it’s free. The only and I think the biggest minus of this browser is that he don’t support’s RSS, which is very important for people who often reads new and wants’ to do it very quickly. I hope on next versions of this browser the Google team will make something for RSS feed support. But maybe it will be a simple programmer, because The Google Chrome is Open source and that means that everybody, who wants, can add soothing to this browser.

I always like to see new ideas from the Google company. I am always impressed, when something new comes from Google. And a moth ago I discovered something new from it, the Google store.
