In this article I want to talk with you about: How to build your own social network for free.
What is Social network
Social network is a website, which helps you to connect with your friends and other people from hole over the world. It may contain discussion forums photo and video galleries. In social network website you can find new people and discuss with them about your favorite topics, you can create your own unique profile where you can write many things about you and your interests. Also you can send messages for other social network members; you can comment and watch their photos, videos and blogs. As an ideal example of social network we can name Facebook or Frype, but it is less popular in America. Maybe you will be surprised, but YouTube also is added to list of social networks. In hole over the world are many popular social network websites. Most popular social networks in the world (which I know) are Vkonatke – Russian social network, Draugiem – Latvian social network, One – Russian social network in Latvia and as I mention Facebook – American Social network.
Why do I need my social network?
It is a very hard question, but mostly people create their own social networks, to collect people who have the same interests as you, sometimes people create own social networks for a place on the web where to collect all the family if it is big ,yea sometimes there are big families. Also if you want to create a fan club, it is also very useful. Maybe you have a big soccer team and you want to contact all the members of the team, but you don’t want to search for everybody in Facebook where lots of people are. In your own social network you are administrator you can add your own news, change options for the website, and change the layout of the website. But it is also a big responsibility, you must moderate the content of your website and takes a lot of your time, imagine if you have 1000 members and each post about 50 photos in a week ,or 40 comments in a week. It is a parity big job to do.

Nowadays internet is growing very fast. In the past most popular where news and flash games portals, but now the social networks are changing this. They are the leads on the internet. People are more often using them, they are sharing all the information with the world and they even don’t know about it. We are giving them everything what they want.

In every country are even a small, but still social network and even some countries having 2 or more. From one side it is good, because they allow us to communicate and share with friends. They also allow us to find new friends. It is also a way how to tell other friends, for example, what you did on last Sunday.
But the Social media network has also many disadvantages, which we, simple people cannot see or we just simple don’t want to see. They have many personal information, then you can’t even imagine. The creators of social networks have all our passwords, names and surnames which we gave them, telephone numbers. Our internet IP addresses even home addresses.
Many of you will say that it is secure, and they have the “private policies”, but do they really are working, sorry I am a bad, but I don’t read them, just gave a quick view.
But try out writing your name in Google, and I giving you 100% that one of the results will claim to your personal data, but this thing, depends on how often you use the internet and how often do you leave your threats there.

Many of you will say ones more about the security: “You must be registered, to view somebody’s profile”, but where is the problem? Everybody can register, besides, mostly it’s free.
I am laughing about people who are still in social media portals, but are saying “Don’t post my photo in your site”, they just think that somebody can take their picture and make something bad with it and then public it on a website. But they still have a profile on social media network, which is full with theirs photos, and they are certain that there nobody can take their picture, make something funny with it and then publicize on a website. Yes I agree that social media networks has many security levels, like an option “don’t show my images to people I don’t know, etc)

I am not saying that I am like an “angel”, and that I don’t use the social media networks. I can say only that I am using them and I am also sharing my personal information, photos and many more.

Overall

As a summarization I can say that, if you are new to social networks, then be careful, don’t gave to many your personal information and don’t give too many information. Also be very careful with the passwords; just don’t use similar passwords to important and confidential things.
So be careful with your personal information on the internet.
